Guarana is the whackiest bunch of street-drumming maniacs you are likely to encounter just about anywhere. Founded in 2003. we have been seen (and heard) regularly at festivals, galas, and community events in and around Aberdeen, or just busking outside Marky’s. We have also participated in events throughout Scotland and England.

Guarana would like to thank the following people and organisations:
Hilton Community Centre, Hilton Road AB24 4HS http://www.hilton-community-centre.org/
Stork Technical Services who provided us a minibus, without which it would be impossible for us to go to more than a fraction of the eighty or thereabouts gigs we manage to attend each year.
Marcus Britton of Oi Musica for his help in developing our wind section, for mentoring our up-and-coming young band leaders, and, together with Oli Furness, also of Oi Musica, and Roddy Dickson, for creating and leading the TNT youth street band as part of the Hoots on the Street project.
Finally we would like to thank the other people and organisations, too many to mention individually, who have helped us in various ways over the years.
